Article entitled "Shopping Around" from Kbbreview (trade magazine).

Heading: "Fresh pastures for our Mystery Shopper this month as he rode his cock horse to Banbury in Oxfordshire"

Paragraph dealing with Three Shires Kitchens reads as follows:

"Back to the car and off to Brackley, a few miles outside of Banbury. The showroom was in a row of old houses converted into shops. No one was around as I opened the door and went inside. I was soon joined by Neil Urquhart coming out of his office 'I usually come out to see you and discuss your ideas before drawing up a plan for you', he explained, 'and we can offer a fully-fitted service to include plumbing, electrics, gas, tiling and flooring.'

Neil quizzed me about the size and shape of the room and the age of the house. Armed with this information, he took me round the different displays. 'This is real wood which has been hand-painted to look distressed whereas some of the other doors are mdf foil or vinyl wrapped which are very hard-wearing and easy to keep clean.' he enthused. There was a huge range available. 'Hopefully we'll find something you like,' he smiled, handing me a door sample to feel how heavy it was. "The carcases are colour coordinated to match the doors,' he said - opening one to prove his point, 'and doors have a soft-closing mechanism to prevent the doors being slammed about.' The same system was on the drawers. 'You just push this back gently and it will automatically close softly,' he continued, showing me at the same time. 'And there are plenty of features inside the cupboards too,' he said, opening the doors to show me. 'There are recycling bins, enormous pan drawers through to corner storage where you can access everything hidden away in the corner.' Opening another door, he showed me an interior rack system which brought all the items to the front. Appliances were next. 'We can get all the main manufacturers and this way you know everything will be ready to fit when we come to the installation stage, but you are welcome to get your own if you prefer,' he explained. 'We've found the Leisure Rangemaster is a good option as it's available in different sizes (with one or two ovens depending on what you want) as well as a gas or electric hob.' Neil handed me a selection of brochures and invited me to call when I was ready for a visit. An excellent sale.

Score 9/10

Neil's enthusiasm for his product, along with plenty of feature demonstrations and suggestions for my new kitchen made this the best sale today.
